How Do I Create or Edit “Project Notes” in FastChip? You can add hypertext documentation about your FastChip project by editing the project notes file stored in your project directory. Click Project Notes from the FastChip toolbar, located at screen right, to view the project notes using your favorite web browser.
The name of the project notes file is based on the project name. For example, if your FastChip project is called MyDesignE5, then the associated project notes file is called MyDesignE5_notes.html. The file is HTML format. You can use your favorite text or HTML editor to modify the project notes file. For example, you can use recent version of Microsoft Word, which read and product HTML format. Because the project notes file is HTML, you can include the following items.
Because FastChip invokes your favorite web browser, you can use any HTML capabilities supported by your browser. Ideally, store all images and associated text somewhere under your FastChip project. That way, your documentation follows your project should you move it to another computer.
